Sparkle & Spyce was born from a dream — to see beauty in every shade, story, and culture. Growing up, I rarely saw women who looked like me in art or fashion. I created Sparkle & Spyce so that every woman could finally see herself represented — not as a token, but as the main character. The name captures that mission: Sparkle represents fashion’s glamour and creativity, while Spyce celebrates the culture, identity, and individuality that make it come alive.

Each piece begins as an illustration inspired by strong women of color and their cultural roots. I thoughtfully design every look, considering the culture, hairstyle, fabric, and silhouette to craft the perfect outfit for her story. Then, I hand-embellish each print, carefully placing beads, gems, and stones that give her outfit texture and brilliance. Every crystal, pearl, and shimmer is chosen to highlight her unique spirit and individuality.

Each finished artwork is framed in a white shadowbox filled with gems, beads, or natural elements — from pearls and moss to heart-shaped stones and lava rocks — creating a world of art, fashion, and storytelling. Sparkle & Spyce is more than art; it’s a celebration of representation and identity through couture-inspired designs. a reminder that we belong in every room, on every runway, and in art — sparkling, unapologetic, and full of spyce.
